What is JobRadars.com?
JobRadars.com is a comprehensive job board platform that connects employers with qualified candidates. We offer free access for all candidates with all features available at no cost. Employers require a subscription to post jobs and access the resume database.
Is JobRadars.com free to use?
JobRadars.com is completely free for candidates! All candidate features are available at no cost, including job search, resume creation, application tracking, job bookmarks, and more.
Employers need an active subscription to access the candidates database and post jobs.

How do I create an account?
Click on My Account -> Registration at the top of any page. Choose whether you're a job seeker or employer and fill out the registration form. You'll need to verify your email address to complete the process.
What's the difference between candidate and employer accounts?
Candidate accounts are designed for job seekers to create resumes, apply for jobs, and track applications. Employer accounts are for companies to post jobs, search resumes, and manage hiring processes. The account type determines which features and dashboards you see.

Can I change my account type after registration?
Account types cannot be changed after registration. If you need both candidate and employer access, you'll need to create separate accounts with different email addresses.

How do I search for jobs?
Use the search bar on the homepage to enter keywords and job location.
How often are new jobs posted?
New jobs are posted daily by employers across various industries. We recommend checking regularly for the best opportunities.
Can I save jobs to apply later?
Yes! Click the bookmark icon on any job listing to save it to your "Saved Jobs" list. You can access saved jobs from your dashboard and organize them for easy reference. This feature is free for all candidates. Read more about it here.

How do I apply for jobs?
Click "Apply Now" on any job listing. You can apply with your JobRadars.com resume and submit your cover letter. Some employers may direct you to their external application system.
Can I track my job applications?
Yes! All candidates can track all their applications for free, including status updates and follow-up dates. This feature is available to everyone at no cost.
How do I create a resume on JobRadars.com?
Go to "Account -> My Resumes" and click "Create". Fill out the resume details. You can create multiple resumes for different types of positions.
Can employers find my resume?
Yes, employers can find it through resume search.
What file formats can I upload?
We accept PDF files for resumes. Files must be under 5MB.
Resume Promotion Package
What is Resume Promotion?
Resume Promotion is an optional one-time purchase package that boosts your resume visibility. For NZ$8, you get 30 days of featured placement in employer searches, priority visibility, and an ad-free browsing experience.
How does Resume Promotion work?
When you purchase a Resume Promotion package, your resume appears higher in employer searches and receives priority visibility in our resume database, increasing your chances of being contacted by employers. The promotion is valid for 30 days from purchase.
Do I need a subscription for Resume Promotion?
No! All candidate features are free. Resume Promotion is a separate one-time purchase that anyone can buy to boost their resume visibility. No subscription required.

Job Posting
How do I post a job?
Click "Create" on "My Account -> My Jobs" page. Fill out the job details and submit the form. Review and publish your listing. You will need to wait for approval before it goes live.
How long do job postings stay active?
Job postings remain active for 30 days. You can renew, edit, or close postings at any time from your dashboard.
Can I edit my job posting after publishing?
Yes! You can edit job postings at any time. Changes appear immediately on the platform. You can update job requirements, salary, description, or any other details as needed.
What makes a job posting effective?
Include clear job titles, detailed descriptions, specific requirements, salary ranges, and company culture information. Use relevant keywords, highlight benefits, and provide clear application instructions for best results.
Resume Search & Candidate Management
How do I search for candidates?
Use the Resume Search feature to find candidates by keywords and location.
How do I contact candidates?
Send messages through Contact Candidate form on resume view page. Attach one of your job postings you want the candidate to consider it. Personalize your message and clearly explain the opportunity to get better response rates.
If candidates chose to include their phone number in profile, you can call them directly.
Can I save resumes?
Yes! Bookmark interesting resumes to your saved list.
How do I manage job applications?
View all applications in your employer dashboard. Update application statuses and add your comments.
Promoted Jobs and Analytics
What are featured job postings?
Featured jobs appear at the top of search results, get highlighted placement throughout the site, and can be included in email newsletters and social media promotion for maximum visibility.
How to promote a job posting?
To promote a job posting, click the "Promote" button on the "My Jobs" page. You can promote 3 of your active job postings at a time.
How do analytics help with hiring?
Track your job views and number of applications to gain insights into your job postings performance.
Pricing & Payments
How much does it cost for candidates?
All candidate features are completely free! There are no subscriptions or recurring charges for candidates. The only optional purchase is the Resume Promotion package, which is a one-time payment of NZ$8 for 30 days.

How much does it cost for employers?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and debit cards through our secure payment processor Stripe. We do not store your payment information on our servers.
Can I get a refund for Resume Promotion?
Resume Promotion packages are non-refundable. However, you can use the promotion for the full 30 days from purchase.
Technical Support
I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?
First, try resetting your password using the "Forgot Password" link on the "Login" page. Check that you're using the correct email address. If you're still having issues, contact our support team for assistance.
I'm not receiving email notifications. How can I fix this?
Check your email spam/junk folder first. Add our email address to your contacts or safe sender list. Verify your email preferences in your account settings. Contact support if you're still not receiving emails.
The website is loading slowly. What can I do?
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Disable browser extensions temporarily. Check your internet connection speed. If problems persist, try a different browser or contact support.

JobRadars.com works best on modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated to the latest version for optimal performance and security.
Is JobRadars.com mobile-friendly?
Yes! Our platform is fully responsive and works on all devices including smartphones and tablets. You can search jobs, apply, and manage your account from any device with an internet connection.
How do I report a technical bug?
Contact our support team with details about the issue, including what you were trying to do, any error messages, and your browser/device information. Screenshots are helpful for visual issues.
Privacy & Security
How is my personal information protected?
We use industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. We never sell your personal information and only share it with employers when you apply for jobs or publish your resume.
While jobs are publicly visible, resumes are not available to search engines and AI agents.

Can I control who sees my resume?
This feature is not available yet. You will need to delete your resume to prevent employers from viewing it.
What information do employers see when I apply?
Employers see the information you include in your application: link to your resume and cover letter (message to employer). They also see your email and contact phone (if specified).
How do I delete my account?
Go to "My Profile" and click "Delete Account". Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data including resumes and job applications.
Do you use cookies?
Yes, we use cookies to improve your experience, remember your preferences, and analyze site usage. You can control cookie settings in your browser, but some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

What happens to my data?
All your data (resumes, applications, etc.) is preserved in your account. Since all candidate features are free, you always have access to all your data and features.
