About The Role
Over the ~5 months of this fixed-term position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing expert-level support across a range of systems and technologies, including network support, Azure services, EDI/B2B solutions, Windows Servers, and various hardware and software components.

In accordance with the Company's Drug & Alcohol Policy, the successful candidate will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Over the ~5 months of this fixed-term position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing expert-level support across a range of systems and technologies, including network support, Azure services, EDI/B2B solutions, Windows Servers, and various hardware and software components.
- Provide network support and troubleshooting of switching and routing issues. Working with customers to resolve connectivity issues with EDI/B2B solutions.
- Monitoring and administration of Azure and on-prem servers: ensure stability, high availability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure.
- Ensure that files and virtual machines are backed up correctly and regular testing of back-ups are done.
- Troubleshoot and remediate technical issues (L2-L3), escalating to MSP when necessary.
- Ensure accurate inventory of assets and carry out annual upgrade of hardware, in accordance with the replacement policy.
- Deploying and upgrading of operating systems, software, workstations, and mobile devices.
- Follow security best practice and work with MSP to apply patches to improve infrastructure performance and security.
- Collaborate on projects and assist with system upgrades and enhancements, for example: mobilisation of contracts, migration of on-prem infrastructure to the cloud.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the IT Support Technician.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience in network support, Azure services and server administration.
- Familiarity in virtual machines, VMware, including switches and printers.
- Proficiency of administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and office applications. Exposure to PowerShell, SQL, and Power platform would also be useful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
