Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

You will work within the Safety and Wellness team to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the Safety and Wellness team's operations. You will provide essential business support, process and compliance management support and initial injury management support to the Safety and Wellness team.

Salary will be in the range of $66,698 to $79,256 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Ko wai koe? - Who are you?

Along with your relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent work experience you will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in business support and/or project administration
  • Excellent communication skills (specifically in business communications)
  • Strong customer focused orientation
  • Excellent numeracy skills and proven ability to use Office 365
  • Familiarity financial management (accounts payable/receivable and procurement)

Experience with safety and wellness and/or administration of the ACC accredited employer programme would be an advantage. You will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills along with a high level of integrity, particularly in relation to confidential and sensitive information. You will need a clean and current full drives licence to ensure you are able to travel between our 2 campus locations.

The Safety and Wellness team are a small team responsible for providing advice and guidance to support management and employees in achieving a safe and healthy workplace. They provide the safety and wellness management system and associated risk management, assurance, education, and training. The purpose of the Safety and Wellness Coordinator is to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the Safety and Wellness team's operations by providing essential business support, process and assisting in compliance management support and initial injury management support for the Safety and Wellness team.
