The Role

We have an extensive range of luxury accommodation at Millbrook Resort, the role involves ensuring guests are warmly greeted and a tailored made experience is delivered. We focus on being a part of a collaborative team, delivering a high-end bespoke guest experience, whether it be assisting with luggage, delivering room service, selling and promoting in-house and external activities, driving guests in our shuttle services or providing a luxury airport service from ZQN to Millbrook Resort. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong customer focus; who is honest, responsible and capable of working independently and has the expertise to provide a five-star service, as well as, hands-on support to the front office operation.

• Passion for service delivery and the hospitality industry
• Professional and immaculately presented
• In-depth local knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative, as well as, work as an effective team player
• Must be physically fit, as the role requires manual handling
• Resilient and able to respond to a variety of situations with a collaborative and flexible approach
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, shift work including nights
• Full clean Driver's Licence is essential, P class endorsement is desirable (we will support you to attain P class).

Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown

Hours: Full time guaranteed 30/40 hours per week

Pay Banding: $26 - $28.18 gross per hour

Describe your leadership style?

I love to work alongside my team and together create a positive work environment. I believe it is crucial to know each of your team members and where they are at their best to allow them to perform, as well as giving everyone a space to grow and develop their skills

What do you enjoy most about working at Millbrook?

My number one is certainly the team we have, such an interesting bunch of individuals coming from all parts of the world with different cultures and hobbies. I also love the opportunity for growth and development here... and obviously, the scenery!

What are some of your favourite aspects of working in the Front Office department?

Again, the team makes the Front Office department such an enjoyable team to be part of. I also love taking care of our guests and finding creative ways to make their stay more memorable. Not one day is the same!
