The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join our Construction Crew, based out of Hamilton.

You will be part of a team performing a wide range of construction activities including:

  • Opportunity to work on some on New Zealand's current largest roading projects.
  • Safety improvements on local authority road networks in both urban and rural environments.
  • Area wide pavement treatments and overlays including final trim
  • Subdivision pavement work
  • Shaping and trimming of batters
  • Ensuring high quality infrastructure projects are delivered to plan using your expert operator skills

In addition to the above, you will have:

  • Experience operating graders in a road construction environment is essential and 3D control would be beneficial
  • You will be proficient in operating Grader Machine across a range of situations
  • Class 1 and 2 licenses minimum + W,T,R endorsements is essential
  • Self-motivation coupled with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Drive to achieve productivity, goals and deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Honesty and reliability
