The Opportunity
We need an Industrial Electrician to join the Fulton Hogan team in Hamilton.
In this role, you'll see yourself responsible for helping keep our fleet and fixed plant going as well as exciting new builds and commissioning that are scheduled over the next 2-3 years. On a day-to-day basis you'll be help maintain bitumen fleets, keep asphalt plant and quarry fixed plant operational as well as have the opportunity to work on airfield work and street lighting installation.
In addition to the above, you will be:
- Registered Electrician with a current practicing licence
- Have a solid understanding of NZ Electrical Rules & Regulations
- Be able to understand & implement wiring diagrams
- Hold current full driver's licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion and commitment to safety in the workplace
- Being a team player, self-motivated and take pride in your work
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Strong diagnostic, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
