About the role
Our dedicated team of four work together to answer all incoming calls requesting the booking of building inspections. You will be responsible for booking times on a mobility calendar and scheduling nine inspectors throughout our district. Other administrative processes include the dealing with all incoming mail to do with those inspections and achieving code of compliance in relation to the building consents, in conjunction with multiple programme applications used within Building Control.
About you
To be successful you will:
Enjoy being on the phone for large portions of the day in a fast-paced environment,
- Have the ability to multitask and jump between tasks throughout your day,
- Be focused on learning from our audited procedure manuals with participation in updating/improving processes as required,
- Bring strong communication skills, both verbal and written,
- Computer literate,
- Experience filing and working within complex databases,
- Experience managing your own workload and prioritising to achieve expected outcomes,
- Local geography knowledge would be desirable.
