About The Role

Working closely with the Asset Strategy Manager – Gas and wider team, you will be responsible for developing network strategies and development plans, which includes network growth, pressure, resilience and redundancy, odorant, and isolation strategies. You’ll lead this work and be responsible for the network modelling providing valuable insights into our Asset Management Plan (AMP), guiding targeted investments, and contributing to our transition to lower carbon emissions.

Responsibilities Include

  • Lead the development and review of network strategies and development plans.
  • Lead the network ‘Synergi’ modelling to determine that network pressure is adequately monitored and support other initiatives.
  • Provide routine network performance reporting (Network KPI reports), including SCADA monthly updates, shift swaps, alarm set-points and annual review of data logger locations and dispatch to capture relevant winter data.
  • Provide regulatory reporting requirements by preparing asset management plan schedules, information disclosure and default quality price-path information to meet requirements.
  • Support network investment decisions by feeding into the 10-year investment plan (AMP) - ensuring network capacity assessments timing and need for projects are prioritised.

Skills & Experience

You will be someone who enjoys building relationships, is customer focused and a great team player. Your ability to work with and through others, both in and outside of the organization, will be critical in this role.

Ideally experience in the gas industry to hit the ground running would be a bonus but not essential. If you have reliability engineering experience within the infrastructure and electricity sectors, then we want to hear from you.
