Processing Team Leader | Full-Time | Blenheim

• Monday to Friday
• $27.66 per hour paid fortnightly 

New Zealand Post is looking for a Processing Team Leader to manage our dedicated team at our Blenheim Operations Centre. We are looking for someone who can think on their feet while supporting the team when the pressure is on.

Shift: Monday to Wednesday: 11:00am - 7:30pm and Thursday to Friday: 11:30am - 8.00pm

About you: 

You're the type of leader who takes a hands-on approach and demonstrates a commitment to safety while fostering a high performing, positive and happy team culture! Some other must haves are: 

• Have a clean and valid full drivers license
• Have a current OSH certificate/ F Endorsement (mandatory)
• Good people management and influential skills 
• Flexibility to work across other sites if needed
• Possess high level of accuracy 
• High level of Health and Safety awareness
• Clear and concise communicator both via email and verbally
• Good at being able to forward plan
• Previous experience with holding daily stand-up meetings for your people
• Administration skills as you will also be in charge of rostering, recruitment, payroll and other important things that keep the team running smoothly
• Previous experience in the freight & logistics industry is highly desirable
