Op Shop Manager - Blenheim - #308415

Our Blenheim Op Shop Manager will work Tuesday - Saturday (31 hours) and will be responsible for the leadership of the volunteer team, customer service and retail operations. This includes a high standard of customer service, online sales and general administration. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude. You will have good attention to detail, strong merchanting skills, the ability to merchandise and present a retail shop to a high standard with the customer experience paramount in decision making. The role will be busy, challenging and rewarding.

About the role:

• Customer service and sales

• Leading and training the volunteer team

• Merchandising and display

•Sorting donations and pricing donated goods to sell

• Growing sales

• Delivering a high standard of online sales service

• Undertaking daily cash up and banking

• Maintaining the Health and Safety of the shop

Our ideal candidate will:

· Retail management experience, second hand retail would be an advantage, however not essential

· Passionate about online selling and sale to create a seamless customer journey

· Have excellent communication and customer service skills, be solutions focused with friendly and positive can-do attitude.

· Have proven ability to recruit, train and manage a high performing team.

· Excellent organisation skills and be able to prioritise and effectively manage workloads

· Be a self-motivated team player, who is enthusiastic and passionate about animal welfare.

· Demonstrate empathy and resilience

· Strong administration, computer skills and merchandising experience.
