Electrician

Buzz Electrics, part of the Aotea Group, has been powering Hawke’s Bay since 1994. We’re a locally owned electrical contractor with around 50 staff across Napier and Hastings. We work with some of the region’s best-known businesses, councils and homeowners.

We have a strong pipeline of work, so we’re looking for qualified Electricians to join our team. There’s a place for you here whether your background is domestic, commercial or industrial.

About The Role

• Installation, maintenance and fault-finding across domestic, commercial and industrial sites
• Planned and reactive maintenance for long-term clients in food processing, manufacturing, healthcare and local government
• New builds, fit-outs, switchboard and mains upgrades, and minor capital works
• Opportunity to join our paid after-hours on-call roster
• Working alongside and mentoring our apprentices

About You

• NZ registered Electrician with a current practising licence
• Domestic, commercial and/or industrial experience (we’ll match the role to your strengths)
• Strong commitment to health and safety and quality workmanship
• Good communicator who takes pride in looking after customers
• Full NZ driver’s licence
• Industrial experience (automation, PLCs, MCCs) is a bonus, but not essential
