Here at ASB, the customer is at the heart of everything we do. Recognised as one of New Zealand's leading financial organisations, with a united and talented workforce, we are continuously evolving against a backdrop of rapidly changing customer needs, regulations, and technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Strategy team as we strengthen the connection between strategy, planning and execution across ASB. Enterprise Execution & Change (EEC) will help create greater visibility of change across the bank, including the capacity, dependencies and constraints that influence our ability to successfully deliver our priorities.

Mō te tūranga | About the Role

We're looking a Senior Analyst – Enterprise Execution & Change, someone who loves getting into the data, making sense of complexity and, importantly, answering the "so what?"

This role is about much more than producing reporting. You'll help turn information into insight, giving stakeholders visibility of package readiness, progress, risks, capacity and dependencies and identifying where intervention may be needed.

You'll work with EEC tools and information sources, using data, low-code capability, automation and AI to improve how the team operates and generates insight.

As a Senior Analyst – Enterprise Execution & Change, you will:

  • Analyse package readiness, progress and delivery confidence, identifying emerging issues and areas requiring escalation.
  • Bring together data from across packages to identify constraints, dependencies, risks and potential delivery hotspots.
  • Translate complex information and analysis into meaningful insights that help stakeholders understand what's happening and why it matters.
  • Maintain package artefacts, actions, milestones, measures, risks and reporting.
  • Support dependency and capacity analysis across enterprise change.
  • Coordinate inputs from stakeholders and maintain high-quality information supporting governance and decision-making.
  • Maintain and continuously improve EEC tools, templates and information sources.
  • Use low-code, workflow automation and AI capabilities to improve reporting, dependency management, governance, insight generation and team productivity.
  • Support package health reviews and continuously improve EEC reporting and processes.

Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? | What do I need to be successful?

You don't need to come from a traditional Strategy background. We're particularly interested in people who are analytically strong, curious and able to connect information back to the bigger picture.

You'll Bring

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills and confidence working with complex information and data.
  • Experience in an analysis, portfolio support, strategy or change environment.
  • The ability to go beyond the numbers to generate insight and clearly articulate what the information means for delivery and decision-making.
  • Experience using low-code platforms and workflow automation to improve reporting, analysis or productivity.
  • Experience building or working with AI-enabled solutions, copilots, automations or analytical tools.
  • A curious, continuous-improvement mindset and an interest in applying emerging technology to solve business problems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data quality.
  • Strong written communication and the ability to create clear reporting and governance materials.
  • Strong organisation, coordination and stakeholder relationship skills.
