About The Role

At Craigs (CIP) we are focused on helping our clients to achieve their financial goals and grow their wealth. We believe that where a client’s financial future is concerned, our people are fundamental to achieving this. Our collective skills, knowledge and commitment means that we can provide the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Reporting to the Head of Digital, Data and AI role, this is a full-time permanent role based at our Tauranga office. You will work across the business to identify and prioritise AI use cases, design future-state processes, support prototype development and testing, and help successful AI Agents move into production.

You will connect business needs with technical delivery, partnering with business leaders, subject matter experts, AI Engineers and change specialists to ensure each solution is useful, reliable and delivers measurable value for our clients and our business.

What You Will Do

  • Engage with teams across Craigs to discover, capture and assess AI opportunities.
  • Maintain a structured use case register and prioritise opportunities based on value, feasibility, strategic alignment and complexity.
  • Work with subject matter experts to map current processes and design future-state workflows incorporating AI Agent capabilities.
  • Partner with AI Engineers to support prototyping, define acceptance criteria and coordinate thorough testing.
  • Present demonstrations, testing outcomes and production-readiness recommendations to programme leaders and the AI Agent Sub-Committee.
  • Develop training and communication materials, support end-user adoption and enable a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Define success measures and track benefits through formal three- and six-month post-deployment reviews

About You

You are a structured, curious and collaborative problem-solver who can translate complex business needs into clear, practical solutions. The successful candidate will operate within the parameters of the NZX rule and regulations, relevant legislation and CIP procedures and policies. You will also ideally bring:

  • At least two years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, change or a related role.
  • Experience capturing and prioritising requirements or use cases, developing business cases and documenting workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills across business and technical audiences.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and delivering training or change activities.
  • Exposure to AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives.
  • A strong commitment to quality, including careful testing, documentation and benefits tracking.
  • Knowledge of financial services or wealth technology, or the ability to build it quickly.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable. Qualifications in business analysis, process design or change management—and AI-related learning such as AI fundamentals, prompt engineering or design thinking—would be an advantage.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health insurance
  • Annual Craigs Community Day (paid volunteer day)
  • Additional week of leave (conditions apply)
  • Other leave (such as sick leave, bereavement leave, and family violence leave) from your first day of work
  • Parental leave - 26 weeks’ pay ‘top up’ for eligible Primary Carers
  • Long service leave
  • Annual health check and flu vaccinations
  • Flexible work options
  • Savings benefits and preferential insurance rates
