Senior Civil Engineer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with 8+ years’ NZ design experience in land development and infrastructure projects to join a well-regarded consultancy based in Queenstown.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, industrial and commercial land development projects in one of New Zealand’s most scenic and dynamic regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver civil infrastructure design for residential, commercial, and public sector developments.
• Undertake site inspections and provide technical oversight during construction phases.
• Prepare design documentation, specifications, and reports in line with industry standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8+ years’ relevant experience in NZ working on land development and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of three waters infrastructure and subdivision design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D for modelling and design work.
