Recoveries & Settlements Specialist

Your day-to-day would look like

• Manage recovery claims by investigating liability, pursuing recoveries from third parties, and driving timely cost recovery outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and uninsured third parties to achieve fair commercial outcomes while minimising claim costs.
• Monitor and progress recovery activities, proactively mitigating legal risks and avoiding litigation where possible to help keep insurance affordable for our customers.

In your first 6-12 months, success will look like:

• Consistently delivering strong recovery results while effectively managing a diverse portfolio of claims.
• Recognised as a trusted adviser who confidently navigates complex disputes and influences positive commercial outcomes.
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance recovery performance and support affordable insurance for customers

To thrive in this role, you'll need

• 2 years’ experience in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry preferred.
• Experience of Recoveries, Settlement or Disputes Tribunal proceeding is an advantage
• Frontline or contact centre experience.
• An understanding of Insurance liability
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently, empathetically, and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Highly organised and results-driven, with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and delivering positive outcomes
