Our client is an established NZ logistics business with a strong operational footprint. The finance team is investing in its data and reporting capability and is open to fresh thinking.

The Role

Reporting to the finance lead, you will own the budget and forecast cycle and act as the finance partner to operations, HR, sales and transport. Translating complex data into insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget and reforecasts, building the framework and models
• Present budget assumptions and outputs for senior review
• Partner with operations, HR, sales and transport on financial and operational analysis
• Turn financial data into clear commentary and insight for non-finance leaders
• Identify margin leakage and cost-to-serve issues, and recommend action
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models.

Key Skills & Experience Required

• CA or CPA qualified
• 5+ years in a commercial finance environment
• Budgeting and financial modelling experience
• Data modelling and Power BI building experience
• Genuine interest in AI and how it can improve financial reporting
• Confident influencing stakeholders outside of finance
