This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll help manufacture high-quality precast concrete products while working alongside a supportive team in a safety-first environment. You'll gain exposure to a range of production processes and have opportunities to develop your skills within a leading New Zealand business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Pouring, casting, finishing and stripping concrete products
  • Operating manufacturing equipment and production machinery
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Completing quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
  • Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement and production targets

No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys practical work and learning new skills.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in manufacturing, concrete, precast, carpentry, steel fixing, or a similar hands-on environment
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Commitment to health and safety
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical fitness and ability to undertake manual work
  • Gantry crane, forklift, reinforcement, or manufacturing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Why Join Hynds?

  • Health insurance (subject to eligibility)
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Discounts through our company partners
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Career progression opportunities
  • A supportive team culture where people matter
