About the Company

Our client is a well-regarded New Zealand beverage brand with a loyal following and a reputation built on quality. They partner with some of the country’s best hospitality operators and are growing across multiple channels.

The Role

Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will own national revenue, forecasting and sales performance across New Zealand. This is the senior commercial seat in the NZ business, with real authority to make local calls and shape how the brand grows in market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a field team of Account Managers and BDMs across both islands
  • Own national revenue, forecasting and sales cadence, reporting monthly to senior leadership
  • Build a national distributor network from scratch, starting in the South Island
  • Win and grow multi-site hospitality accounts at the premium end of the market
  • Own the national equipment budget, ROI decisions and technical service partners
  • Drive CRM discipline across pipeline, forecasting and account management
  • Chair the monthly NZ leadership forum and be the brand’s senior face in market
  • Bring a clear New Zealand lens to group decisions, and push back when something doesn’t fit

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • 5+ years’ B2B sales leadership with a strong record of revenue growth
  • Proven leader of field-based sales teams, with genuine coaching capability
  • Commercial background in FMCG, beverage, foodservice or hospitality supply
  • Experience establishing and managing distributor relationships
  • Track record managing multi-site or group hospitality accounts
  • Strong financial literacy, forecasting skills and advanced CRM capability
  • Confident negotiator who can influence senior stakeholders and hold a view
  • Coffee or specialty beverage experience highly regarded
  • Full NZ driver licence

What’s In It For You

This is a rare chance to be the senior commercial voice for a premium brand, with leadership that wants decisions made locally, not routed elsewhere. You’ll have the autonomy to build, including a distributor network that doesn’t yet exist. The package reflects the seniority of the seat: a strong base, bonus, car and tools of trade, with the flexibility to be based in Wellington or Auckland.

Benefits

  • $130k–$150k base plus bonus
  • Company car
  • Tools of trade
  • Flexible base location, Wellington or Auckland
