As a Systems Specialist within our Digital and Engineering Practice, you’ll help keep critical technology services running reliably, securely and efficiently, so our customers can bank safely and without disruption.
You’ll use your technical expertise and judgement to support complex systems, resolve service issues and continually improve how our technology services are operated.
In This Role, You Will
- Maintain the reliability, availability and performance of the technology services you support.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, working with engineers, product teams and business stakeholders to restore services quickly.
- Identify root causes and contribute to solutions that reduce recurring incidents.
- Manage and prioritise incidents, service risks and operational improvements based on customer and business impact.
- Support technology change while ensuring services remain stable and secure.
- Provide stakeholders with clear and timely information about service health, risks and potential impacts.
- Share your technical knowledge and help build capability across the wider team.
- Look for opportunities to improve service efficiency, resilience and ways of working.

- Strong experience supporting and operating technology services within a complex environment.
- Broad technical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues across different systems and platforms.
- A practical understanding of service management concepts and operational risk.
- The ability to remain calm, structured and effective during incidents and periods of change.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to work across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
- Sound judgement and the ability to balance service performance, risk, cost and customer outcomes.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to share your knowledge with others.
- A learning mindset, with curiosity and a commitment to building your skills through experience and feedback.
