Lead, inspire, and create exceptional guest experiences at Walter Peak.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our Walter Peak team and help deliver unforgettable experiences at the historic Colonel's Homestead.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll support the day-to-day operation of our food and beverage services, guiding a team of F&B Attendants to deliver outstanding service while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, food safety, compliance, and guest satisfaction.
You'll be a natural host who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and takes pride in creating memorable moments for visitors from around the world.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting a team of Food & Beverage Attendants
- Delivering exceptional guest service and hospitality
- Ensuring high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation
- Supporting staff training, coaching, and performance development
- Assisting with retail sales and promoting RealNZ experiences
- Supervising licensed premises and ensuring compliance with alcohol licensing requirements
What We're Looking For
- A current LCQ and Manager's Certificate (DM Licence)
- At least 1 year of experience in a Team Leader, Duty Manager, or similar supervisory role
- Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and hosting skills
- Barista and bar experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to lead by example
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit, high-performing team
- Currently based in Queenstown and available to start as soon as possible
