THE ROLE

Warrington Youth Zone is looking for passionate and dedicated SEND youth workers to join our team. Our additional support service enables young people with additional needs and higher levels of support to access the activities, opportunities and experiences available at Warrington Youth Zone in a safe, inclusive and meaningful way.

As a SEND Youth Worker, you will work closely with young people, building trusting relationships and providing tailored support based on their needs, interests and goals. You will help young people participate in activities, develop independence, build confidence, interact with other peers and overall have a positive experience within our youth work setting.

The role may involve supporting young people with a range of additional needs and depending on individual requirements this may include personal care, feeding support and/or medication administration. Any appropriate training will be provided where required.

You will work as a part of our SEND team to ensure every young person has the opportunity to belong, participate and thrive at Warrington Youth Zone.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Normal Hours Of Work Are

Monday: 15:30-21:15 (Seniors) and Tuesday: 15:30-20:15 (Juniors)
