We're looking for a Constructions Operations Manager to join our team in Central Otago. In this role, you'll lead the safe and efficient delivery of construction projects across the region, coordinating people, plant and resources across multiple sites. You'll play a key part in building strong teams, maintaining high standards, and delivering quality outcomes for our clients and communities.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support operational teams, build trusted relationships, and help create an environment where people feel backed to do their best work. You'll bring a steady focus on safety, performance and continuous improvement, while making sure Good Work gets done the right way.
Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of construction projects and work programmes across the region.
- Coordinate crews, plant, equipment, materials and subcontractors to deliver work safely and efficiently.
- Plan and sequence work to achieve productivity, quality and client outcomes.
- Coach and support supervisors and operational teams to build capability and strong performance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

- Proven experience leading civil construction operations or large-scale project delivery environments.
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, support and develop teams.
- Excellent planning, resource management and problem-solving capability.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental performance.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
