What is the opportunity? | He aha te kōwhiringa?

We're looking for an EWM Flow Controller to join our Auckland Distribution Centre, The Vault. This is a night shift role, Monday to Thursday (8pm to 4am)

Reporting to the Shift Manager, this role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of sales orders, warehouse resources and outbound operations within our SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) environment. You'll work closely with warehouse, dispatch and automation teams to ensure orders are prioritised, resources are allocated effectively and customer deliveries are prepared on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment, thrives on solving operational challenges and has a passion for warehouse systems and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Monitoring workflow and order priorities within SAP EWM to ensure operational efficiency
  • Coordinating closely with dispatch teams to understand transport schedules, collection times and customer priorities
  • Managing work queues and allocating resources to support warehouse productivity
  • Identifying and escalating any productivity or resource challenges to the Shift Manager
  • Providing support and cover for LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) operations when required
  • Using warehouse automation systems to optimise operational performance
  • Ensuring outbound orders are scheduled and prepared for transport collection on time
  • Supporting a safe working environment through proactive hazard identification and risk management
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures and operational standards
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse performance and DIFOT outcomes.

We're looking for someone who combines strong operational knowledge with excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.

You'll Bring

  • Experience working with SAP EWM or similar warehouse management systems
  • Distribution centre, warehousing or logistics operational experience
  • The ability to coordinate multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and resolving operational challenges
  • Confidence working in a highly automated warehouse environment
  • A strong commitment to health, safety and wellbeing

Highly Regarded But Not Essential

  • Experience working with warehouse automation systems
  • Exposure to LGV operations
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated capability to influence operational outcomes.
