Our client is a well-established NZ drinks business representing a portfolio of international brands across grocery and on-premise channels. It’s a sociable business in a sociable industry, with a close-knit team and people who stay for the long haul.

The Role

Reporting into the sales and marketing leadership, you will keep the engine room of a team of around 10 running smoothly. You’ll own set weekly tasks while supporting NPD launches, promotions and events. No two days are the same. This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver weekly sales and marketing support tasks and reporting
  • Coordinate NPD launches and promotional activity
  • Manage marketing imagery and point of sale admin, including Foodstuffs
  • Keep customer, product and pricing data accurate in SAP and back-end portals
  • Communicate professionally with overseas brand principals via email
  • Build and maintain regular CRM reports for the sales team
  • Help organise and attend in-house tastings and trade events
  • Provide overflow support to customer service during peak periods

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • 2+ years in sales support, marketing coordination, customer service or similar
  • Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables
  • SAP, CRM or retailer portal experience highly regarded
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
  • Agile and organised, able to pivot quickly between priorities
  • Eager, ambitious and not afraid to ask questions
  • Comfortable using Copilot and other AI tools to work smarter
  • FMCG exposure advantageous; interest in wine and spirits a bonus
  • Relevant qualification preferred, practical experience also considered
