About The Role

Our Silverdale branch is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused

Trade Sales / Driver to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll spend most of your time serving customers at the trade sales counter, processing orders, providing product advice, and helping customers get what they need to keep their projects moving. From time to time, you'll also assist with local deliveries, warehouse duties, and branch operations, making every day a little different.

This role would suit someone with experience in retail, trade sales, customer service, plumbing, building supplies, or the wider trade industry. If you're looking to move off the tools but still want to stay connected to the trade sector, we'd love to hear from you!

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Providing outstanding service to our customers at the trade sales counter.
• Processing sales and assisting customers with product enquiries.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Picking and preparing orders.
• Assisting with local customer deliveries when required.
• Supporting warehouse and branch operations as needed.
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure customers receive exceptional service.

• Previous trade, retail, merchant, or customer-facing experience preferred.

• Reliable, motivated, and a great team player.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to undertake some heavy lifting (up to 20kg)
• A full, clean Class 1 New Zealand driver's licence.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
• Pride in your personal presentation and professionalism.

This is a permanent full-time position working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
