Team Medical - GP Lead

Team Medical at Kapiti Limited are looking for an experienced GP with a passion for caring for people in our community to join our team. If you are interested in a leadership position in a strong and stable practice, then please get in touch!

We are looking for someone who can champion equity, bring clinical excellence, has proven quality improvement experience and has great ideas for clinically effective and efficient ways of working. You will play a key role in the strategic planning and will be sitting at the leadership table. The ideal candidate should possess sound clinical and communication skills. This role will be supported by our team of dedicated team of administration, nurses, GPs.

Team Medical is a locally owned recently renovated practice working in association with The Doctors network. We are an integrated family health centre passionately providing a full range of GP Care to our enrolled patients and Urgent Care for accidents and urgent medical needs to our community.

As a key health hub to the Kapiti Coast our GP services typically weeks day and some weekends. Our Urgent Care services operate 7 days a week from 8am - 10pm. We offer full X-Ray facilities on site and are co-located with a pharmacy next door.

Desiring 32-40 hours a week we are open to discuss with candidates rostered hours and flexible start and finish times to meet the needs of our community & business.

You will bring to the role:

• Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilize your experience
• Great communication skills
• Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
• Hold FRNZCGP and Vocational Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
