He Angitūtanga / The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Storeperson to join our team at Waiouru Military Camp. This is a permanent full-time position offering 40 guaranteed hours each week.

You will be responsible for receiving, storing, managing, and dispatching goods safely and efficiently. This role requires strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a proactive approach to workplace health and safety.

Ko o Kawenga / Your Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, process, pick, package, and dispatch stock
• Maintain accurate warehouse, inventory, freight, and storeroom records
• Ensure stock is stored correctly and FIFO procedures are consistently followed
• Assist with monthly stocktakes, order sheets, and inventory management
• Maintain safe, clean, organised, and secure storage areas and equipment
• Follow all food safety, manual handling, health, safety, and security procedures

He Kōrero Mōu / About You

• Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse, inventory, or similar role
• Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills
• Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records
• Physically fit and comfortable completing manual handling duties
• A reliable team player who can also work confidently without supervision
• A flexible, hardworking approach and willingness to complete required pre-employment checks
