About the role | Ko te kaupapa

We’re shifting into our summer season and we’re searching for a competent, experienced Mower Operator/ Sprayer to join the team. In this role you’d be out across the wider Waimak operating a tractor mower and doing urban chemical application duties on a scheduled and reactive basis. You’d also use a variety of small plant, line trimming, vegetation control, spraying maintenance across footpaths, Kerb & channels.

This role enables you to have a high level of ownership, and job satisfaction and to be responsible for your day to day activities. You will be someone who can work quickly and efficiently while delivering quality work. Excellent communication skills and the ability to use technology on the go is an absolute must.

What you’ll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
• Grow Safe certificate (essential)
• WTR endorsements (desirable)
• Ability to identify hazards and work safely around plant and equipment
• Physically fit and self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised with a positive attitude
• Health and safety conscious and ability to use common sense.

• Competitive hourly rate, with weekly pay
• Permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday – Saturday work if desired
• 40 hours + Time and a half for overtime
