Merchandiser - Traditional Liquor NZ

Your Impact

Asahi Beverages NZ is seeking a Merchandiser to support our Traditional Liquor Channel across

South Auckland. You'll work closely with our Area Sales Managers to ensure shelves are well stocked, products are rotated, displays are eye-catching, and promotional point-of-sale is executed to the highest standard across banner group stores within the traditional channel whilst also assisting within the Grocery channel when required.

This is a physically active role ideal for someone looking to break into the FMCG industry – with a clear pathway into sales. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our RTD, beer, wine, and spirits brands are always looking their best in store.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure stock is rotated, faced, pulled forward and shelf-ready
• Build branded displays and execute promotional plans in store
• Support equipment presentation, including fridges and point-of-sale
• Assist with warehouse or delivery overflow as needed
• Partner with Area Sales Managers to execute brand activations
• Represent Asahi brands with pride within the traditional liquor channel
• Conduct product tastings within the Traditional and Grocery channels

About You

• Must reside in South Auckland or East Auckland (within the defined sales territory)
• Full driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle – paid mileage included
• Physically fit and capable of lifting stock and setting up displays
• Customer service or retail experience is highly desirable
• Aspiring to grow into a future sales career with strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable, hands-on, and takes pride in store presentation
• A bit of creative flair doesn’t hurt – you’ll be building standout displays
