Reporting to the General Manager, Human Resources, you will lead the planning and delivery of all core People & Culture activities across our national network of branches, distribution centres and manufacturing sites.
This hands-on leadership role combines strategic oversight with practical business partnering. You will own the annual P&C plan and KPIs, guide the P&C team, and deliver performance and remuneration reviews, training and workforce development, organisational design and change management. You will thrive where things are actually made, bringing a “get it done” mindset, confident change management capability, and ideally solid industrial relations and employee relations experience.
You will set and uphold consistent performance and conduct standards, escalate risks early, coach the team and leaders through difficult situations, and provide clear advice and analytics to the Senior Leadership Team and CEO. Your influence will help build a proactive, customer-focused P&C function that supports commercial outcomes and a strong workplace culture.

- Provide hands-on P&C advice and coaching to allocated leaders and supervisors across people, performance and change issues

- Lead and develop the P&C team, setting service standards, calibrating performance and building capability
- Manage employment issues and disputes, escalate risks and coach leaders on early intervention
- Advise and support the SLT and CEO with reports, analytics and practical guidance
What You’ll Bring
- A qualification in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, organisational psychology or related field
- Experience in a multi-site national business, ideally manufacturing or industrial
- Proven experience across the full employee lifecycle, policy, process and employment agreements
- Strong IR/ER capability and practical experience managing change, conflict and employment issues
- Excellent judgement, problem-solving and commercial pragmatism
- Ability to influence and coach leaders, communicate clearly and get things done
- Self-directed, proactive approach with high initiative and stakeholder focus
