Project Delivery Coordinator

At SYOS, we’re building autonomous systems that operate across air, land, sea and subsurface - and we’re moving fast. We’re looking for a Project Delivery Coordinator who loves bringing order to complexity, keeping people accountable and making sure the right things actually get done.

This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your days updating spreadsheets and taking meeting notes.

You’ll be right in the middle of project delivery - working alongside

Project Managers, Product Directors and engineering teams to keep plans moving, unblock actions and make sure nothing important falls through the cracks.

What You’ll Do

Keep projects moving

• Work with Project Managers to build, maintain and continuously update project plans and schedules.
• Track milestones, dependencies and deliverables as priorities evolve.
• Spot slipping actions early and flag them before they become problems.
• Turn project plans into clear, practical actions for engineering and delivery teams.

Own the project rhythm

• You’ll help make Jira work properly - not just exist.
• Keep tickets accurate, with the right owner, status, priority and due date.
• Follow up on overdue actions and keep people accountable.
• Keep backlogs clean, useful and moving.
• Highlight anything blocked, overdue or at risk.
• Provide a simple weekly view of what’s happening across the project.

Make things happen

• Coordinate project meetings, agendas, rooms and attendees.
• Capture decisions and actions, then follow up until they’re actually closed.
• Coordinate practical project requirements including packing, documentation, shipment preparation and logistics.
• Take care of the coordination around engineering teams so they can focus on engineering.

Support the Project Manager & Product Lead

• Pull together project updates, status reports and presentation material.
• Maintain project documentation, registers and records.
• Keep risk, issue and action logs current.
• Act as the first point of contact for straightforward project questions - sorting what you can and escalating what needs a decision.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reporting.
• Give stakeholders a clear picture of progress, priorities, risks and anything requiring attention.
• Help establish a consistent delivery rhythm across fast-moving engineering programmes.

What You’ll Bring

You don’t need to tick every box. We’re looking for someone who can bring structure, energy and accountability to a busy technical environment.

Ideally, You’ll Have

• 2+ years’ experience in project coordination, project delivery, engineering, manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Experience working with engineering, technical or product development teams is strongly preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and sharp attention to detail.
• The confidence to ask questions, chase actions and hold people accountable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of what matters most.
• A practical, hands-on mindset — you see something that needs doing and get stuck in.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
• An engineering degree, technical qualification or similar background is advantageous, but not essential.
• Availability for an immediate start.
