We're looking for a passionate and creative Corporate Communications Specialist to engage our employees across New Zealand through compelling content, impactful campaigns and meaningful communication experiences. In this newly created role, you'll work closely with people right across the business, finding and sharing the stories that matter, celebrating what makes Tegel unique, and helping our people feel informed, valued and connected to what's happening across the organisation.
What You'll Do
- Lead and enhance our internal communication channels, including our intranet, employee app, newsletters and site communications.
- Create compelling content that informs, inspires and reflects the experiences of our people.
- Develop and deliver communication campaigns aligned to strategic business priorities.
- Share stories that showcase our culture, values, achievements and people.
- Partner with teams across the business to deliver relevant communications for a diverse workforce.
- Support staff sponsorship programmes, community partnerships and charitable initiatives that make a positive impact in our communities.
- Monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness.
About You
You'll be a natural storyteller who understands how to engage a culturally diverse workforce, uncover meaningful stories, and create communications that bring people together and foster a sense of belonging.
You'll also bring:
- 3+ years' experience in communications or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.
- Experience working with digital communication platforms and channels.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- The ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels, from frontline teams through to senior leaders.
- A proactive, collaborative and hands-on approach, combined with a genuine interest in people and their experiences.
