Location: Radius Matamata, 20 Elizabeth St, Matamata

Hours of work: 30 hours per week, over a rotating roster

Note: Radius Care cannot support a work visa/visa change for this role

About the role

Lead the kitchen and deliver our meals programme to residents of our residential care facility. Provide nutritious, well-presented meals. Ensure correct food is supplied against special orders. Monitor food temperature and oversee portion control.

Duties include

• Ensure all infection control policies and procedures are followed
• Deal efficiently with telephone calls
• Maintain appropriate quality standards
• Refer maintenance requests to the catering manager
• Ensure storage areas are kept clean

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in the same role preferred
• Excellent organisational skills and reliability
• Personable, with a positive attitude and excellent people skills
• Experience leading a team preferred, but not essential
