As part of that journey, we're looking for a strategic and commercially minded leader to join us as Head of Product Development & Partnerships.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the future development of ASB Invest 's products, partnerships and market strategy at a time of significant growth and opportunity. You’ll help shape the future direction of Wealth while influencing product innovation, distribution growth and customer outcomes.
Te Tūranga | The role
Reporting to the General Manager Wealth, you'll lead the development, enhancement and performance of ASB's Invest product portfolio while driving strategic partnerships and distribution opportunities.
You'll be responsible for identifying future growth opportunities, shaping our product roadmap, influencing pricing and distribution strategies, and ensuring our products remain competitive and customer-focused.
Key Areas Of Focus Include
- Leading the development and enhancement of Wealth products and funds.
- Driving product and process simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leading ASB Invest 's go-to-market strategy and execution.
- Influencing distribution performance across internal and external channels.
- Leading strategic projects and stakeholder engagement across the Wealth business.
- Developing a high-performing team of product specialists.

You'll Bring
- 10+ years of experience within wealth, investments or financial services.
- Investment product knowledge, including KiwiSaver or managed investment schemes.
- Extensive experience launching new products or funds, or leading change initiatives that improve customer outcomes or business performance.
- Proven people leadership experience.
- Strong communication skills, including experience engaging and presenting to executive and Board-level stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Established relationships with external stakeholders and industry groups.
- Experience with strategic problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
You'll be someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with execution and can bring people together behind a common vision for growth.
