Head of Distribution Enablement

We're looking for an experienced leader to join us as Head of Distribution Enablement. This is an opportunity to shape how advice is delivered across ASB, influence the future of both people-led and digital advice, and help determine how we build capability across ASB. As a member of the Wealth Leadership Team, you'll play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and future success of ASBInvest.

Te Tūranga | The role

Reporting to the General Manager Wealth, you'll lead the development and execution of the advice and capability strategy across ASB.

You'll lead a team of experienced specialists and senior leaders, providing direction, coaching and support while creating an environment where people can thrive. You'll work closely with executive leaders, regulators, and key external partners to influence the future direction of advice across the bank.

Key Areas Of Focus Include

• Developing and delivering ASB's advice and capability roadmap.
• Driving improvements across distribution and digital channels to enhance customer outcomes, efficiency and compliance.
• Leading innovation, including the use of AI within advice and capability.
• Building strong relationships with regulators, industry partners and senior stakeholders.
• Leading strategic projects and change initiatives that support ASB's long-term growth.

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring

• 10+ years of experience within wealth, investments, lending, financial advice or financial services.
• Deep knowledge of the Financial Advice requirements and industry either within New Zealand or in relevant mature financial markets..
• Extensive experience in funds management and/or financial advice, including leading change initiatives to improve performance or customer outcomes.
• Proven people leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills, including experience engaging and presenting to executive and Board-level stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Established relationships with external stakeholders and industry groups.
• Experience with strategic problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
