The Role
Management Accountant – With a Twist!
Reporting. Forecasting. Projects. Growth.
Most Management Accountant roles revolve around month-end reporting. This one is so much more! You’ll still be responsible for the fundamentals, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, but you’ll also gain exposure to project reporting across a large portfolio of development activity, working closely with project managers and operational leaders to ensure projects stay on track financially.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
- Developing financial models and performance reports
- Producing project reporting including budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, cashflow reporting, and variance analysis
- Supporting project managers with timely and accurate financial information
- Monitoring business performance against budgets and targets
- Developing KPI dashboards and management reporting
- Improving reporting systems, processes, and financial controls
- Heling with year end and audit
Key Skills & Experience Required
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent), with a related tertiary qualification
- Strong Management Accounting experience
- Advanced budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capability
- Experience in project reporting, project accounting, construction, infrastructure, property development, or project-based environments would be highly regarded
- Strong Excel
- Financial modelling skills – preferred not essential
- A passion for accuracy, analysis, and continuous improvement
