Production Planner - Scheduler

Programmed

Remote

Do you come from a CNC machining, engineering workshop or precision manufacturing environment?

We are recruiting for a Production Planner & Scheduler role with a well-established New Zealand engineering manufacturer producing precision-machined components and high-performance engineering plastics.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who understands how an engineering machine shop operates and can confidently work with machinists, programmers, foremen and production teams in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment.

  • Managing workflow, bottlenecks and machine capacity
  • Coordinating materials and supplier requirements
  • Supporting production teams to achieve delivery commitments
  • Working closely with machinists, programmers, foremen and sales teams
  • Maintaining planning and scheduling information

What We're Looking For

Highly regarded experience includes:

  • Engineering workshop or CNC machining environment
  • Precision engineering or industrial manufacturing
  • Planning, scheduling or workflow coordination
  • CAD/CAM exposure
  • Understanding engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of engineering materials, machining constraints and quality requirements
