The Role
Reporting to CFO, the Credit Manager will lead a critical function within the Finance team, taking overall responsibility for customer invoicing, accounts receivable and credit control across Radius Care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll drive strong financial controls, debt recovery and continuous improvement through technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions to enhance productivity, accuracy and customer outcomes, whilst building the capacity needed to support the business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a 9-person team across billing, AR and credit control
- Own accurate, timely invoicing and transaction processing across Radius Care
- Manage aged debtor reporting, debt recovery and escalation processes
- Govern contracts, rates and resident master data across the business
- Drive replacement of the legacy billing platform, with dedicated resources allocated to support successful delivery
- Implement best-practice processes, controls and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with residents and families, government funding agencies, Care Home Managers, Regional Managers and Support Office stakeholders
- Provide pragmatic leadership and value-added insight to the wider business
About You
- Minimum five years’ experience in AR, credit management, collections or a similar finance leadership role
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Experience managing complex billing environments and multiple funding streams; aged care or healthcare exposure a bonus, not a requirement
- Track record of building and implementing systems and process improvements
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience, ideally Business Central 365
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline preferred
- Strong communication skills and commercial acumen, balancing financial outcomes with a customer-focused approach
- Empathetic with a firm, resilient edge, comfortable holding difficult conversations
- Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
