About The Role

As Ward Services Manager, you will provide strong clinical and operational leadership across our inpatient ward and day stay services.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Leading, supporting and developing nursing and support staff
• Ensuring delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care
• Driving operational performance and continuous improvement
• Coordinating services to support efficient patient flow
• Championing a positive, collaborative team culture

This is a key leadership role where you will influence both day-to-day operations and longer-term service delivery outcomes.

About you

You are an experienced clinical leader with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and supporting high-performing teams.

You Will Bring

• Current NZ Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent knowledge and skills of surgical nursing
• Proven leadership experience within a hospital ward setting, ideally in a surgical or private healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
• A focus on continuous improvement and quality outcomes

This role will suit an experienced Ward or Clinical Manager, while also offering an opportunity for a high-performing senior nurse ready to step into their first operational leadership position.
