Your day-to-day would look like
- Drive projects and change initiatives by turning business priorities into clear plans, coordinating stakeholders, and keeping delivery on track.
- Partner across the business with Product, Pricing, Technology, Claims, Risk, Compliance, and Change teams to solve problems and deliver practical outcomes.
- Provide visibility and governance by managing risks, dependencies, reporting, and portfolio insights to support informed decision-making and sustainable improvements.
In your first 6-12 months, success will look like:
- Successfully delivering key PPUW projects and improvement initiatives, ensuring milestones are achieved, risks are managed, and benefits are realised.
- Establishing strong stakeholder relationships across Product, Pricing, Underwriting, Technology, Claims, Risk, Compliance, and Change, becoming a trusted delivery partner.
- Introducing clear portfolio visibility and reporting, providing leaders with confidence in priorities, progress, capacity, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Embedding effective governance and delivery practices, ensuring decisions, actions, risks, and project outcomes are well managed and documented.
- Driving sustainable operational improvements, helping implement changes that enhance underwriting quality, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you'll need
- At least five years’ experience in project management, project delivery, business improvement, change delivery or a related role.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver multiple initiatives from scope through to implementation and closure.
- Proven ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships, influence outcomes, and coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing governance, risks, issues, dependencies, reporting, and decision-making in a structured and practical way.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to solve operational challenges and translate business needs into actionable plans.
- Knowledge of insurance, underwriting, regulatory, and change-management environments, combined with a continuous improvement and risk-aware mindset.
