Habit Health is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Corporate Services team across the Wellington region. This role is responsible for supporting a multidisciplinary team delivering a range of services to businesses, including Occupational Health Nursing, Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), workplace wellbeing initiatives, health monitoring, injury prevention, and other employer-focused health solutions.
You'll play a key role in ensuring excellent service delivery, strong customer relationships, operational performance, and positive outcomes for both our corporate clients and the people they employ.
The ideal candidate will be a confident leader who can engage and motivate diverse teams, build strong relationships with business customers, and drive high-quality service delivery across the region.
The Team Manager will work with clinical and non-clinical teams across Wellington, so they must be willing to travel within the region. This is a leadership role with no clinical caseload. While candidates with a clinical background are preferred, we are also interested in hearing from experienced leaders who have worked in occupational health, wellbeing, EAP, health service delivery, or corporate health environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure the team meets and exceeds operational and financial targets
- Lead and support multidisciplinary teams delivering occupational health, wellbeing, EAP, and corporate health services
- Monitor team performance and ensure service delivery KPIs are achieved
- Ensure appropriate workforce planning and resource allocation to meet client demand
- Support diary management, utilisation, and productivity across the team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to expand services and create additional value for business customers
- Promote Habit Health as the trusted provider of workplace health, wellbeing, and occupational health solutions
- Support quality improvement initiatives, auditing requirements, and service excellence standards
- Foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous leadership experience within occupational health, employee wellbeing, EAP, healthcare, allied health, or corporate health services
- A clinical qualification (Occupational Health Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Counsellor, or similar) would be advantageous but is not essential
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills
- Experience managing service delivery and achieving operational KPIs
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- A collaborative and approachable leadership style
