About The Role

As a Business Process Analyst, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the business to analyse, improve, and document key processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and performance. This role offers the chance to influence how work gets done, support business transformation initiatives, and help create a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation. The role can be based in our Auckland or Hamilton depots.

Role Responsibilities

The Business Process Analyst, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the organisation by analysing existing business and operational processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency and performance. You will develop and maintain process maps, standard operating procedures, and controlled documentation while partnering with stakeholders to establish process objectives, performance measures, and best practice standards. The role also involves supporting document control and governance processes, ensuring documentation remains accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose. You will conduct process and system audits, document findings, coordinate corrective actions, and work closely with both internal teams and external auditors to support certification and compliance requirements. In addition, you will provide reporting and assurance on the effectiveness of business processes and documentation systems, champion business process management practices across the organisation, and support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and process improvements that drive operational excellence and business performance.

Experience: We're seeking a motivated professional who can combine analytical thinking with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in business process analysis, process improvement, or operational excellence.
  • Experience creating and managing controlled documentation, process maps, workflows, SOPs, or similar business documentation.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Visio, or equivalent process mapping tools.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism when working with confidential information.
  • Experience within quality, compliance, operational excellence, construction, utilities, or infrastructure environments would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience conducting process and system audits, with an understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems will be advantageous to the role.
