Te kōwhiringa | The opportunity

As Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of maintenance, construction and early contractor involvement projects across Otago.

Working collaboratively with operational teams, clients and stakeholders, you'll help deliver safe, sustainable and commercially successful outcomes while supporting the continued growth of our Water business throughout the South.

We're looking for a cooperative and people-focused leader who enjoys bringing teams together to achieve great outcomes.

Ideally you'll bring

A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
Significant experience delivering civil, water, utilities or infrastructure projects
Strong commercial and contract management capability
Experience managing multiple projects, subcontractors and delivery teams
The ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and operational teams
Proven people leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing others
Strong planning, resource management and financial reporting skills
A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
Experience within the water, wastewater or utilities sector will be highly regarded.
