As our Chapter Area Lead - Delivery Execution, you'll play a pivotal enterprise leadership role, accountable for strengthening how ASB plans, prioritises and delivers strategic change while lifting delivery capability across the organisation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who combines deep delivery expertise with enterprise influence. You'll lead the evolution of ASB's delivery practice, driving greater execution discipline, delivery predictability and organisational effectiveness across an increasingly complex change portfolio.

This role balances two equally important mandates: leading and developing a high-performing delivery community through people leadership, capability development and practice maturity; and improving enterprise delivery outcomes through stronger planning, roadmap management, dependency coordination, portfolio execution and delivery governance.

As Chapter Area Lead, you'll provide enterprise leadership for delivery and project practice across ASB, accountable for building a high-performing delivery community that enables the organisation to execute strategy with greater confidence, predictability and impact.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Setting enterprise strategy for delivery capability, workforce planning, tooling and practice maturity.
  • Driving a step change in delivery performance across ASB, improving execution quality, predictability, productivity and value realisation.
  • Leading and challenging Chapter Leads to continuously raise leadership quality, capability, engagement and delivery outcomes across their practices.
  • Establishing and governing delivery standards and ways of working, ensuring effective execution across agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery environments.
  • Strengthening enterprise planning disciplines, including roadmap management, prioritisation and investment planning, to ensure strategic initiatives are sequenced and delivered effectively.
  • Improving dependency identification and management across portfolios, enabling better coordination, transparency and delivery certainty across ASB's change landscape.
  • Building market-leading delivery craft capability through leadership development, coaching, communities of practice, succession planning and continuous improvement.
  • Partnering with senior leaders to ensure delivery capability aligns with both current and future strategic priorities.
  • Leveraging data, tooling and emerging technology, including AI-enabled delivery practices, to improve planning quality, delivery performance and organisational outcomes.
  • Championing a culture of accountability, continuous learning and delivery excellence across the organisation.

  • Advanced leadership capability, with strengths in decision‑making, influencing, collaboration, matrix leadership and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong experience governing methodologies and standards while enabling teams to deliver outcomes predictably.
  • Sound risk management capability, with a focus on achieving better risk outcomes.
  • Confidence operating at executive and senior leadership level, with strong credibility and presence.
