- Warm growth opportunity: Re-establish pharmacy relationships in a channel with strong growth potential
The Opportunity
EBOS Consumer Brands is looking for a commercially minded Pharmacy Territory Manager to help re-establish dedicated pharmacy channel coverage across Auckland.
Following the formation of the EBOS Consumer Brands business unit, this newly created role brings together trusted consumer health and animal care brands across a focused pharmacy territory. You will work with retailers including Chemist Warehouse, Bargain Chemist and independent pharmacies to grow range, shelf presence, training, promotional activity and commercial engagement.
This role will suit an experienced pharmacy sales professional, or someone from a closely related healthcare or consumer health territory role, who understands planned customer engagement and how to build credibility with pharmacy owners, pharmacists and retail teams.
What You Will Do
- Own the territory: Manage Auckland pharmacy accounts, call cycles and sales targets.
- Build customer relationships: Partner with independent pharmacies, Chemist Warehouse, Bargain Chemist and other pharmacy retailers.
- Grow the portfolio: Increase range, sales and profitability across ECH, Masterpet and agency brands.
- Execute in-store activity: Deliver promotional plans, displays, shelf positioning and account priorities.
- Educate pharmacy teams: Provide product training that supports range knowledge and customer conversations.
- Use insights commercially: Turn sales, category and market insights into practical customer reviews.
- Keep activity on track: Maintain clear CRM records, tasks, surveys, objectives and reporting in Opmetrix.
What We Are Looking For
- Pharmacy background: Pharmacy channel experience is strongly preferred, ideally within pharmacy sales, OTC, consumer health or healthcare territory sales.
- Territory discipline: Strong planning, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Credible engagement: Confidence working with pharmacists, owners and retail teams.
- Commercial storytelling: Ability to turn product, sales or market information into a clear customer story.
- Autonomy and ownership: Comfortable working with autonomy and taking ownership of a newly created role.
- Communication and presentation: Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Relevant sales background: Ideally, 3+ years’ territory sales experience and 2+ years’ pharmacy channel exposure.
Working Arrangements
This is a field-based role covering the Auckland pharmacy territory. The expected rhythm is approximately four days in territory and one day focused on planning, administration, reporting and follow-up.
