About The Role

We are looking for a Trade Sales team member for our awesome Wellington Branch. This is a people focused role where you will be assisting our valued plumbers and builders identify, source, and locate our extensive range of Plumbing and Bathroom product.

You may have previous plumbing and bathroom knowledge or professional experience, or you may have trade retail experience in a similar industry. You may be a plumber who enjoys the customer facing aspect of your current role. You may simply be up for a new challenge!

In this key customer management role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a friendly, open, and approachable manner. You will be the go-to for our customers, providing technical information and solutions. You will need to be comfortable working with software programs so that you can identify and price our product correctly.

To work with the team at Chesters and our customers, you will need to have a great sense of humour and have an attitude to deliver results. You will gain exposure to all aspects of the running of a busy plumbing merchant so it is crucial that you have a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to learn. Industry experience is preferred but full training provided for the right person. There are excellent opportunities for advancement when you join the team at Chesters.
