We are looking for an experienced

Inwards Goods & Commercial Driver to join our Ika Operations team. This is a unique hybrid role that combines hands-on work within our Inwards Goods team with commercial driving responsibilities, including both regional deliveries and long-haul transport.

This position plays a critical role in supporting our factory operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring products are received, handled, and delivered safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards.

About The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will split your time between:

• Receiving, unloading, and processing inbound product
• Supporting warehouse and factory operations
• Loading and delivering product to customers and partner sites
• Completing regional and long-haul commercial driving runs
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and compliance requirements
• Following strict food safety, quality, and health & safety standards
• Building strong relationships with customers and team members

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will be:

• An experienced Class 4 commercial driver with proven long-haul driving experience
• Physically fit and capable of regular lifting of 15-20kg
• A genuine team player who enjoys working collaboratively
• Someone with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Reliable, honest, and focused on delivering high-quality work
• Comfortable getting involved wherever needed because no job is too big or too small
• Customer-focused and professional when representing Moana
• Committed to following food safety, compliance, and health & safety procedures
• Experience in seafood, food manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or a similar environment would be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

• Full, clean New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence
• Commercial driving and long-haul experience
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Reliable, efficient, and safety-conscious
