Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager – Griffin's branded and Huntley and Palmers, this full-time role is based at our Ellerslie head office, with regular travel to our South Auckland (Papakura) manufacturing site to build strong cross-functional relationships.
This role will play an exciting and important role in assisting on delivering the brand’s annual plan, covering all elements of the marketing mix. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for all things marketing.
You’ll thrive leading and supporting a mix of NPD projects, brand activations and execution of the Griffin’s social media programme.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Assisting in the development and implementation of brand strategies and marketing plans
- Leading cross functional NPD project teams in the development of locally made new products ensuring excellence in execution laddering back to strategic objectives
- Supporting Griffin’s social media strategy and lead the execution of the social media plan
- Managing and co-ordinating sampling activity and brand activation partnerships
- Supporting the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels
- Monitoring and reporting on brand performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Coordinating with external agencies to execute marketing initiatives
What you’ll bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in Marketing, Business or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Marketing is ideal (or Category or Sales experience)
- Social media experience, community management, brand activation/sampling experience advantageous
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Proven experience in project management will be of advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Excellent team player with the confidence to take ownership of key projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Great communication skills with various audiences
- A proactive approach, with a can-do attitude
