Are you a people person who thrives on variety, enjoys new challenges, and wants a career with purpose? As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping people live fulfilling, independent lives while working across our 24/7 services, including daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
No two days are ever the same! More than providing support, you'll play an important role in helping people build confidence, develop independence, and live life on their own terms. Every day brings opportunities to encourage growth, celebrate achievements, overcome challenges, and support individuals to reach goals that matter to them.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical fitness, resilience, sound judgement, and the confidence to manage risk and respond effectively in challenging situations. Daily tasks in this role could include meal preparation, shopping, household tasks, personal care, transportation, or medication administration.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued. Full training and orientation will be provided to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts.
- Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.
- Full NZ driver's license is required
