On The Go Sales Representative - Fasteners

CARTERS Papakura Branch is on the lookout for a motivated On-The-Go Sales Representative to service our Asian trade customers across Papakura and the surrounding area.

About the Role

Operating a Transit delivery van, you will manage a weekly/fortnightly call cycle, visiting building sites to uncover sales opportunities and deliver the products and consumables customers need to keep their sites running smoothly - think fasteners, glues, drill bits, and hand tools. Comfortable manoeuvring through busy streets and building sites, with health and safety always front of mind, and lend a hand in-branch at the front counter and in the yard when needed.

This role is a mix of:

• Account management - building and growing customer relationships to drive sales
• Inventory management - maintaining stock accountability in your van
• Trade sales - processing special orders and transactional sales on the go

What We Are Looking For

• Confident, safe driving skills, including navigating busy urban and building site environments
• Strong customer service and relationship-building ability
• Comfortable with stock management and transactional sales
• Experience in trade sales, special order processing, or a similar customer-facing role
• Must have strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin. Mandarin speaking is a must, to effectively service our Mandarin-speaking trade customers
• A full NZ Driver Licence
